In the small village of Plastovo, just 10 kilometers north of Skradin, right in the hinterland of Krka National Park, the Sladić family has been making wine for generations. This cherished winemaking tradition has been handed down from generation to generation.
In recent years, the younger generation of our family has taken our proud heritage into the 21st century with a touch of modern winemaking techniques. The results --- distinctive boutique wines that have won acclaim from wine lovers the world over.
It starts with the vines. The Sladić family heirlooms are four indigenous grape varieties – Debit, Maraština, Plavina, and Lasina. Grown 300 meters above sea level in a micro climate reminiscent of endless summers, grapes mature cooled by the sea breeze from the Adriatic, keeping their precious acidity.
Our lovingly nurtured vines, 15000 of them, produce grapes with outstanding minerality that are picked by hand and carefully selected for our wines.
When visiting Krka National Park, take a detour and spend a relaxing day in our family winery. We are offering wine tasting with food pairing, you can purchase our wines for your Croatian memory and you can taste our artisanal food products - Olive oil, cured meats, dried fruits - all hand made by our familly.
Our presenters are professional enologist who will give you an informative tour through our wines, grapes and winyards, as well as influence of the micro climate and the character of the region.
You have two ways to reach our winery by car: 1. From Šibenik or Zadar, take the highway A1 and exit in Skradin, drive through village Pamučari and take the first turn right, drive until the sign says Sladići. 2.
